color options

The following are our regular color options for the EVA foam boat flooring

Texture / Pattern

We support any customised textures and patterns for the EVA foam boat flooring. The following are the popular types in the market. The faux wood teak lines are the most classic.

Brushed

Anti-slip performance: Medium to high; the fine, dense texture provides good grip even when wet.
Feel underfoot: Soft and smooth, suitable for prolonged barefoot use.
Ease of cleaning: Relatively easy to clean; dirt does not tend to get trapped in the deep grooves.
Recommended areas: Main decks, outdoor lounging areas, swim platforms, and other areas where comfort and safety are both important.

Diamond

Anti-slip performance: High; the 3D diamond blocks provide excellent grip even on steep, wet surfaces.
Feel underfoot: Firm; the sole offers a distinct sense of friction.
Ease of cleaning: Moderate; we recommend regular cleaning with a high-pressure hose and a soft-bristled brush.
Recommended areas: The bow casting deck, walkways, work areas, and other high-traffic zones where superior anti-slip properties are essential.

Teak Lines

Skid resistance: Medium to high; longitudinal grooves aid drainage and increase friction.
Underfoot feel: Fairly soft, similar to traditional teak decking but with greater elasticity.
Ease of cleaning: Moderate; dirt may accumulate in the grooves, so it is recommended to scrub along the grain.
Recommended areas: Main deck and large decked areas; suitable for boats requiring a wooden deck with modern features.

Honeycomb

Anti-slip performance: Medium to high; the regular hexagonal pattern provides multi-directional grip.
Underfoot feel: Even support, suitable for prolonged standing.
Ease of cleaning: Moderately easy; dirt does not tend to accumulate in the edges of the pattern.
Recommended areas: Stern swimming platforms, boarding steps, and high-traffic areas near hatches where people frequently board and disembark.

Camo

Anti-slip performance: Medium to high.
Feel underfoot: Varied and rich, ideal for enthusiasts seeking a distinctive look.
Ease of cleaning: Moderate; the intricate texture may require more thorough scrubbing.
Recommended applications: Fishing boat decks, competition boats, and custom-modified craft; can be combined with camouflage colours to emphasise the ‘workboat’ aesthetic.

geometric

Anti-slip performance: Medium to high; depends on the textures.
Underfoot feel: Even support, suitable for prolonged standing.
Ease of cleaning: Moderately easy; dirt does not tend to accumulate in the edges of the pattern.
Recommended areas: Swimming platforms, boarding steps, and full decking.

Thickness & Construction Options

tHICKNESS oPTIONS

  • 5 mm 1-Layer: Suitable for compact areas such as interior floor panels and cabinet shelves; lightweight and easy to cut.
  • 6 mm 1-Layer: The most commonly used marine-grade thickness, offering a balance between cushioning and weight, making it suitable for full-hull installation on most leisure craft and fishing boats.
  • 9 mm 3-Layer: A 3-layer composite structure (total thickness approx. 9 mm) offers a softer feel underfoot and superior shock absorption and thermal insulation, making it ideal for helm pads and workstations where staff are required to stand for long periods.

Hardness & Adhesive

  • Hardness: EVA foam boat flooring can be adjusted to be softer or harder depending on the application. Softer kinds offer a more comfortable feel underfoot, whilst harder kinds provide greater durability in areas subject to high-frequency friction or heavy loads.
  • Adhesive Backing: We commonly use 3M marine-grade adhesives, offering high shear strength and resistance to water and temperature.
  • Installation: Ensure that the hull surface is dry and free of grease. Pre-cut the material to fit the hull template, then apply it after dry-fit, pressing down firmly along the edges.

Material Structure

Material: The entire structure is made from closed-cell EVA foam, which is water-resistant and offers excellent buoyancy. Compared to open-cell materials, it is less prone to mould growth and allows for better weight control.

  • Resistant to seawater, UV and common cleaning agents; suitable for long-term outdoor exposure.
  • The surface can be finished with any kind of textures, such as brushed, diamond and teak lines, whilst retaining a soft feel underfoot.
  • We offer CNC cutting services based on customer drawings, ensuring a precise fit for complex deck routing and hatch openings.

Custom Service: Logo, shapes, patterns, OEM / ODM

With our standard colour options and any texture supported, we offer a comprehensive customisation service to help boat owners, dealers, and shipyards create fully integrated EVA boat floor solutions that reflect their brand identity.

  • Logo / Boat Names / Grid Lines: Using two-colour or 3-colour inlays and precision CNC machining, elements such as the boat’s name, brand logo, scale markings and grid lines can be incorporated into key areas of the deck.
  • Exclusive Colour: We can provide a bespoke colour scheme for your EVA foam boat flooring based on your brand’s standard colours and the hull’s paintwork, and produce a rendering of the entire vessel for your approval.
  • Regionalised Cutting: Based on the boat dimensions you have provided or the scanned actual foil template, we will optimise the division into sections, edge finishing and drainage routing, whilst taking into account both ease of construction and future maintenance.
  • OEM / ODM Supported: We support long-term partnerships and bulk supply, and can develop packaging, instruction manuals and installation guides tailored to your product range to help you expand your local market.

Tips for Quick Selection

  • Pick Colour First: Based on the hull colour and intended use, decide on the general direction from typical combinations such as Classic Teak Brown, Modern Grey and Sport Black & Red.
  • Choose Texture & Pattern: High slip resistance: diamond/hexagon / geometric; Comfort underfoot: brushed / teak lines.
  • Decide Thickness: Use 6 mm EVA foam boat flooring for standard areas; for areas where people stand for long periods, consider a 9mm composite structure.
